Front of House Staff (Primarily Buffet Service)

Vegan Quick Bites is the exciting new venture from Next Stop Vegan, bringing delicious and affordable plant-based Latin cuisine to the Greenpoint area. We're a fast-paced, vibrant restaurant offering buffet-style service, delivery orders, and a variety of a la carte options. Our goal is to provide an unforgettable dining experience that’s as flavorful as it is welcoming.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an upbeat, energetic, and reliable full-time staff member to join our team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel at providing excellent customer service, and handle a variety of tasks with professionalism. You will be responsible for managing buffet-style service, assisting with delivery orders, and providing outstanding service for our a la carte menu items. A passion for plant-based food and Latin cuisine is a plus!

Responsibilities:

-Manage and maintain buffet-style service, ensuring food is replenished and presented attractively throughout the service period.

-Take orders from customers for a la carte menu items, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

-Process and fulfill delivery orders, coordinating with third-party delivery platforms and handling packing with care.

-Provide outstanding customer service, greeting guests warmly and ensuring a positive dining experience.

-Maintain cleanliness and organization in both front-of-house and service areas.

-Collaborate with kitchen and management teams to ensure timely food preparation and service.

-Follow all food safety and hygiene protocols to maintain a safe and clean environment.

-Assist with inventory and stock management as needed.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment, preferably in buffet-style service or delivery order handling.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work efficiently and multitask in a busy setting.

Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings.

Team player who can adapt to changing tasks and responsibilities.

Passion for plant-based food and Latin cuisine is a bonus!
