Accounts Payable Specialist
Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Des Moines, Iowa. This role falls within the financial industry, where the selected candidate will be tasked with handling account coding, data processing, auditing, and other related functions. The workplace is dynamic and requires the use of various accounting software systems, such as Oracle Fusion, SAP, Workday, and ADP - Financial Services.Responsibilities: Handle the processing of accounts payable, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all transactions. Use your experience with large ERP systems, such as Oracle Fusion, SAP, or Workday, to manage and maintain accurate financial records. Address exceptions in account payable processing promptly and effectively. Perform regular auditing of financial transactions to ensure compliance with established policies and regulations. Manage the automated clearing house (ACH) processes, ensuring all transactions are handled accurately and promptly. Utilize accounting software systems effectively to streamline and automate accounting functions. Ensure account coding is done accurately and in line with the company's financial policies. Use Concur and other data processing tools to maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records. Handle any inquiries related to accounts payable, providing timely and accurate responses. Perform regular accrual accounting tasks to ensure the company's financial records are up-to-date and accurate. Requirements Proficiency in Account Coding is required. Must be knowledgeable in the use of Accounting Software Systems. Experience with ADP - Financial Services is necessary. Proficiency in utilizing Concur software is required. Must have experience in Data Processing. Comprehensive understanding and ability to perform Accounting Functions is a must. Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) is required. Understanding of Accrual Accounting is necessary. Auditing skills are a must. Experience with Automated Clearing House (ACH) is necessary.
