Duties include providing field-based OQ evaluation for re-qualifications and mentoring of assigned employees in a timely manner through coordination with local the UGI Operations Management Teams.Duties and Responsibilities

Provide field evaluations, utilize approved OJT materials, perform and document testing in both written and oral examination formats. Maximize effectiveness through the proper mix of instruction, discussion, mentoring, and on-the-job training.

Coach and develop assigned employees to perform effectively in their daily duties during routine and emergency work situations.

Perform intermittent Quality Assurance inspections in support of the UGI Quality Assurance Program while coaching to improve overall performance goals of all employees.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Strong ability to develop working relationships with all assigned employees under C&M field conditions and in the field work environment. Ability to assess and transfer job knowledge through discussion, demonstration and employee support.

Promote a safe work environment by actively participating in all aspects of our employee safety program. Knowledge of UGI Safety and Health Manual. Use UGI Stop Job Responsibility where necessary. Report any unsafe conditions and take actions to prevent personal injuries. Fully support our I'll Be There safety culture by ensuring the safety of assigned co-workers.

Ability to teach, mentor, coach, and organize/schedule with field operations personnel. Good communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to exhibit patience and fairness while managing a wide variety of employee personalities.

Strong knowledge of UGI Gas Operations Manual with experience in field application of various Operator Qualification tasks. Must possess or can obtain field operator qualifications.

Ability to confidently interact with field operations employees and front-line supervision.

Education and Experience

High School Degree required.

5-10 years of utility field operations experience preferred.

Broad experience in of all phases of field utility C&M operations required, including teaching, coaching, and mentoring others. High degree of working knowledge of UGI Standards and Procedures, national and industry codes and requisite regulations. Required to assist in course development and to present courses for all levels of technical hourly personnel from Novice to Technician levels.
