ENERGETIC HOSPITALITY DRIVEN FLOOR MANAGER FOR BUSY NEIGHBORHOOD BAR/R

Busy and established neighborhood bar/restaurant group is in search of a floor manager in Highland Park! We are looking for someone with experience leading a moderate sized staff through communication and leading by example. Our ideal candidate will have experience in both bars and restaurants, and be hospitality driven. The role is largely guest facing, as well as helping the general manager run the day to day operations. Salary range for the role is $65,000-$75,000 per year DOE.

General job description:

Assist general manager and ownership in overseeing, and execution of, all day to day operations

Aid staff and general manager in running service, including ownership of solo manager shifts

Help coach and train staff on continued best practices of service, organization, and cleanliness

Work with general manager, bar director, and marketing in planning, and execution, of events

Sometime liaison between upper management/ownership and staff

Work with bar director on monthly inventory

Help with staffing, interviewing, and staff guidance

This list is not exhaustive, and other duties can be assigned DOE and business needs

Experience and open availability are necessary for the role, with the ideal candidate having at least 5 years experience in the service industry, and at least 1 year in management.
