Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field and a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. This position involves processing financial transactions, maintaining records, and assisting with accounting tasks to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.Key Responsibilities:Assist in processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation.Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and payment requests.Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing processes.Support the finance team with financial data entry and reporting.Communicate with vendors and clients regarding payment inquiries.Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.Perform other administrative and accounting tasks as needed.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).1+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping (preferred, but not required).Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.High level of accuracy and attention to detail.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
