Job Posting: House Manager for Spiritual Entrepreneur

Location: Columbus, IN

Hours: Minimum 12 hours per week (Existing schedule required, other hours flexible)

Pay: $15/hour

Start Date: ASAP

Are you a highly organized, proactive individual with a passion for maintaining a well-run household? If so, this House Manager role might be the perfect fit for you! This position is designed to provide critical support to a spiritual entrepreneur and their family by managing household tasks, scheduling, errands, and meal preparation. For the right candidate, this could be a full-time position.

Responsibilities:

Meal Planning and Prep:

Create weekly meal plans focused on whole foods and wellness.

Shop for groceries and prepare meals for the week.

Prepare dinner on weekdays (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday) and assist with evening cleanup.

Household Management:

Maintain an inventory of household items (cleaning supplies, toiletries, etc.) and restock as needed.

Organize and tidy the fridge, pantry, and household spaces.

Handle laundry, including folding and putting away clothes.

Clean and organize the family vehicle.

Errands and Organizational Tasks:

Pick up mail from the business office mailbox and organize documents as needed.

Purchase gifts or supplies for events and celebrations.

Assist with family events, such as monthly retreats or children’s birthday parties.

Coordinate school-related activities, ensuring the family is prepared for special events.

General Tidiness and Support:

Ensure the home is tidy and ready for the evening, including putting away toys, shoes, and coats.

Anticipate needs and proactively address household tasks without constant direction.

Schedule:

Weekend: 3-hour shift on Saturday or Sunday for food prep and general tasks.

Weekdays: 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

Qualifications:

Highly detail-oriented and organized.

Proactive and able to anticipate needs without direction.

Comfortable cooking and following recipes (wellness-focused whole food meals preferred).

Health and wellness conscious.

Reliable transportation required.

Comfortable around children (though childcare is not a primary responsibility).

Polite, respectful, and discreet, with a high level of professionalism.

Must pass a background check.

Ability to work independently and follow detailed checklists.
