CLIENT OVERVIEW:

Our client is a well-established and highly prestigious educational organization in the Princeton area that is looking to add an Accounts Payable Coordinator. This organization is looking for someone professional who can work in a team just as effectively as they can work independently. 3 - 5 years of accounts payable experience is needed and experience out of a non-profit and/or educational industry is a big plus.

SALARY/HOURLY RATE:

$60k - $65k Annually

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Applicants for the Accounts Payable Coordinator role must have strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Our client is looking for previous experience with full-cycle accounts payable and general accounting.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ACCOUNTS PAYABLE COORDINATOR:

Matching, batching, coding, and entering invoices.

Working knowledge of purchase orders.

Researching and resolving accounts payable with customers and vendors.

Updating and reconciling the sub-ledger to the general ledger.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS FOR THE ACCOUNTS PAYABLE COORDINATOR:

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Comfortable with independent work.

Experience with ERP software is a plus.

Strong Excel skills.

High-volume Accounts Payable experience or equivalent knowledge.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree and equivalent experience is preferred.
