IT Business Analyst

Siemens Medical Solutions USA, Inc. seeks a IT Business Analyst in Malvern, PA. Summary of Duties: Partner with key business contacts to create requirements and functional speci?cations for complex SAP (Systems, Applications and Products in Data processing) developments. Develop test cases and manage test activities. Design new harmonized Controlling processes and best practice SAP implementation together with Business and IT. Collaborate and manage various external suppliers. Conduct the implementation of complex solutions across SAP platforms and other systems. Collaborate with other application teams, Basis & Security teams and the Service Desk team. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements related to controlling and management accounting processes. This involves conducting interviews, workshops, and analysis of existing systems and processes. Configure the SAP CO module to meet business requirements. This may include setting up cost centers, profit centers, internal orders, and other controlling objects within the SAP system. Customize SAP CO functionalities through enhancements, user exits, and other development tools to address specific business needs that cannot be met through standard SAP configurations. Ensure seamless integration of SAP CO with other SAP modules such as SAP FI (Financial Accounting), SAP MM (Materials Management), and SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) to provide end-to-end business process support. Develop test scenarios and conduct thorough testing of SAP CO configurations and customizations to ensure they meet business requirements and are free from defects. Prepare comprehensive documentation including functional specifications, process flows, user manuals, and training materials to support SAP CO implementations and ongoing operations. Conduct training sessions for end-users to familiarize them with SAP CO functionalities, processes, and best practices. Provide ongoing support and guidance to users as needed. Remote work permitted. Qualifications: The position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field and Five (5) years in the job offered in the job offered or an acceptable alternate occupation. The position requires experience with the following: SAP Finance and controlling module; General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Banks, Special Purpose Ledger; Integration of SAP finance and controlling module with Material Management, Sales and Distribution, Production Process; Asset Management: Procurement, Depreciation and retirement of Assets; Profitability Analysis (CO-PA): Costing based and Accounts based Profitability analysis, Drilldown Report; Profit Center Accounting; Cost Center Accounting; Cost Element Accounting; Internal Orders: Budgeting, planning and actual postings to Internal Order; Product Costing: Product Cost Planning, Cost Object Controlling, Material Ledger; Integration points with auxiliary solutions like Concur; Interface with Bank for payment to Vendors and to receive payment from Customers; Accounting Standard, generally accepted accounting principles and International Financial Reporting Standards;Tax laws and regulations, Withholding tax, Input Tax and Output Tax; SAP Systems: SAP ECC, S/4 Hana.
