Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team. As an SDR, you will be the first point of contact for potential customers, responsible for prospecting, qualifying leads, and setting up meetings for our sales team. Your goal is to generate interest in our computer support services and build a strong pipeline of potential clients.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting: Research and identify potential clients through various channels (cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, networking, etc.).
Outbound Outreach: Engage with prospects via phone, email, and social media to introduce our IT support services and qualify their needs.
Appointment Setting: Schedule meetings and product demonstrations for the sales team with qualified prospects.
CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of interactions and pipeline activity in [CRM tool, e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce].
Collaboration with Sales & Marketing: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to optimize outreach strategies and improve lead conversion.
Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Keep up with IT support trends and services to effectively communicate our value proposition to potential clients.
Qualifications & Skills
1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related role (preferably in IT, SaaS, or tech services).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build rapport quickly and handle objections professionally.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
Experience using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, we use KEAP (Formerly InfusionSoft) and sales engagement tools.
Basic understanding of IT support services, cybersecurity, and cloud solutions (preferred but not required).
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
This is a part time position (approximately 15 to 20 hours a week). Some flexibility in schedule but need availability between the hours of 9am - 5pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday’s. Pay for the position is $17 per hour, with bonus incentives paid for each successful scheduled appointment.
