Machinist
5 years minimum experience.
Proficiency with hand measuring tools (mics, calipers, etc).
Working knowledge of blueprint interpretation (GD&T).
Firm understanding of G code.
Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
Knowledge of HAAS CNC machines are a plus.
Proficiency with manual lathes and mills a plus.
Ability to select appropriate tooling and understand feeds and speeds are a must.
Must be able to learn, understand, and have the desire to thrive within an FAA regulated environment.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Steady work history and references are a must.
Strong desire to advance skill set is preferred.
Must be able to pass random drug testing.
Other fabrication skills a plus.
This is a first shift (M-F) machining position at an FAA regulated facility. The requirements will be to assist with the machining functions including the repair of flight critical components as well as the creation of parts from raw billet to design dimensions. This is a fast pace and technically challenging position that will require standing, kneeling, bending, and lifting throughout the day. We maintain a zero drug use policy and the candidate will be subject to ongoing random drug testing at an FAA approved facility.
