HVAC /Commercial Refrigeration Service Technician

Job Description and Duties:

Troubleshooting & Repairs of HVAC/R materials and equipment

Maintenance of HVAC/R equipment

Heavy focus on commercial refrigeration equipment. Walk-in and reach-in coolers and freezers, blast freezers, Kairak systems, ice machines, etc.

Heat Pumps/ Gas Electric Units, Package Units, Split Systems, Mini-Splits. Water Source Heat Pumps.

Cooling towers, chillers, and boilers experience a plus

Clean DMV required

EPA Universal and NATE certs a plus and impact pay

Overtime most likely required

Assists in preparing material lists and estimating job costs

Preparing jobs and maintaining an inventory of supplies and tools for assigned trucks/projects

Must have personal industry-specific tools

Must be willing to be on a rotating 24-hour emergency on-call cycle with other technicians.

Performs related duties as assigned.

Technicians are satellite techs, provided a company vehicle and are required to travel to different customer locations daily and to come into the office in Chatsworth only when needed/asked to.
