Job Overview


We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caretaker that already has a CLIENT in the state of Indiana to provide essential support and care for individuals in need. The ideal candidate MUST HAVE A CLIENT THEY ALREADY WORK WITH to transfer over and have experience in caregiving, with a focus on enhancing the quality of life for patients in various settings, including nursing homes and group homes. This role requires a commitment to patient observation, administration, and meal preparation while ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.

Responsibilities

Assist patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.

Monitor and record vital signs as needed to ensure the health and well-being of patients.

Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.

Administer medications as prescribed and ensure proper documentation of medication schedules.

Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for patients.

Observe and report any changes in patient conditions or behaviors to healthcare professionals.

Assist with mobility needs, including lifting or transferring patients safely when required.

Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents, ensuring safety and comfort.

Collaborate with other healthcare team members to develop individualized care plans.

Requirements

Previous experience in caregiving or home health settings is preferred.

Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and basic medical procedures is beneficial.

Ability to lift and assist patients safely is essential.

Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare staff.

Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.

Basic cooking skills for meal preparation are desirable.

Familiarity with medication administration protocols is a plus.

Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends if necessary.
