Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in New Haven, Connecticut, 06525, United States. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play an integral part in our administrative processes, with a focus on customer service, data entry, and maintaining an organized workspace. Responsibilities: Answer and direct inbound and outbound phone calls in a detail-oriented manner Schedule meetings and manage calendars to ensure smooth operations Provide support to visitors to ensure a positive experience Execute various administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, and scanning Manage email correspondence efficiently and in a detail-oriented manner Handle administrative projects, ensuring they are completed in a timely manner Maintain and update customer credit records with accuracy Utilize Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word to accomplish tasks Ensure operational requirements are met by assigning and expediting work tasks Use basic office skills to maintain an organized and efficient workspaceRequirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Administrative Assistant role or similar Proven ability to manage and direct inbound and outbound calls Excellent customer service skills with a focus on detail orientation and courtesy Proficiency in data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy Comfortable with email correspondence, able to draft and respond to emails in a detail oriented manner Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word Experience in scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and coordinating meetings Possession of basic office skills, including filing, photocopying, and document handling Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment Strong written and verbal communication skills High attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
