We are seeking a skilled Journeyman-level Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) Technician with at least five years of manufacturing or industrial-related experience to join our Cantonment, FL facility. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure seamless plant operations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise and a commitment to workplace safety. The E&I Journeyman-level Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical and instrumentation systems, including motors, transformers, PLCs, and control panels. This role involves troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. Collaboration with engineers, maintenance teams, and operations personnel is essential to optimize system performance and ensure accurate documentation of all work performed. Compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, industry standards, and the National Electric Code is required. Candidates must have journeyman-level E&I experience and a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems. Key responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing PLCs, AC/DC variable speed drives, MCCs, switchgear, and power distribution systems. Additionally, the technician will be responsible for reading and updating E&I schematics and loop diagrams while staying current with industry advancements. Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are also necessary. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with E & I technical training. Regular work hours are M-F 6:30am-3:00pm. Must be available for occasional overtime during special projects and on rotating call-in list.
