Caregiver - private
Retired Summerlin couple seeks an individual to fill a permanent long term position requiring the following experience and attributes:
- A non-smoking female that prides herself as being honest, dependable, punctual and lacking any demanding outside commitments and distractions;
- Is a self starter who is organized, enjoys anticipating others needs, is easily adaptable to changing situations and requires little or no supervision after orientation/training;
- Has professional caregiving experience and basic certifiable caregiver training;
- Has professional hotel and residential housekeeping experience;
- Other than just having “home cooking” experience (like most of us), instead has elevated your level of cooking expertise to “a good, interested and enthusiastic amatuer status” or has previous restaurant cooking experience;
- Has a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle for the occasional errand;
- Comfortable around a small dog;
- Sometimes consider by others to be somewhat of a “neat freak”;
The duties and compensation:
- your caregiving experience will not be needed initially (we are just preparing for any future eventualities).
- daily light housekeeping (we have a weekly cleaning service)
- weekly laundry
- preparing one meal daily
- using our vehicle to drive the wife to her appointments
- performing small dog maintenance
- you will be compensated if your vehicle is used in running errands
- perform home maintenance tasks
- Work Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday, 9am-4pm. Starting income is $25 p/hr and paid weekly.
