Day Prep is hiring an in-person teacher for an advanced 1st grade student in La Jolla. This position can be for the remainder of this year only, or extended for the next school year as desired.

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Qualifications:

Ability to build rapport with student

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong leadership qualities

Interest in training and responsiveness to feedback

Pay: $40 - $50 per hour

This is an in-person position only, no remote. More in person and remote work with other clients may also be available once you join our team.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the individual learning needs of the student.

Respond effectively to training to implement method with purity and efficacy.

Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and growth.

Utilize effective communication skills with admin and parents according to school policies.

Monitor and assess the student's progress with our assessment materials.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
