Food Service Employee at Kula Shave Ice North Shore, $15-$18/hr+tip

Kula Shave Ice North Shore in Kahuku, HI is looking for 2-3 food service employees to join our 10 person strong team. We are located on 57-146 Kamehameha Hwy. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, and engaged.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve shave ice and drinks, maintain cleanliness, and ensure food safety

- Ensure shave ice and drinks are served in a timely manner

- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines

- Clean and sanitize workstations, utensils, and equipment

- Take customer orders, address customer inquiries, assist to resolve issues, and provide excellent customer service

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the trailer

- Ensure tables, benches, and surrounding areas are clean and presentable

- Restock supplies and inventory

- Communicate and work cohesively with all team members

- Handle cash and process transactions

- Operate all equipment and utensils safely and efficiently

- Follow provided procedures and checklists

Qualifications

- No previous experience necessary

- Must be able to lift and carry (short distances) 30 - 50 lbs

More information about the position

- We are looking to cover shifts on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

- We are looking to hire someone that would be available to work 2 - 3 days a week

- Daily shifts fall between 11 am - 7pm

- Shifts are 5.5 to 6.5 hours

- Payroll is run every 2 weeks
