In home daycare lead teacher & Part time assistant teacher
Oregon, Portland , 97201 Portland USA

Hi there!

We are a certified in-home daycare in NE Portland. We have been busy growing for the past ten years and are looking for a lead teacher for our children aged 6 months to 3 years. Our classroom typically has between 8 and 12 kiddos and our child:teacher ratio istypically between 4:1 or 3:1. Our program is play based and child lead but coordinating games, songs and crafts is a creative part of our lead teachers day. We have a sunny, comfortable home in NE Portland and a fantastic community of families and friends. The hours are 9-5 Monday-Thursday with occasional half days on Fridays for the lead position and negotiable hours for the part time position . We have three paid weeks off (one week in summer, one week in spring and between Christmas Eve and New Years Day) in addition to some paid PPS holidays. Compensation is $21.35/hr. Position available 4/1/25 with training beginning in March.

Requirements:

(for lead position) Willingness to complete 30 hours of infant training and 20 hours of toddler training within the first years. One year commitment.

Before hire (for both positions)
