Join Our Established Optometry Practice in San Juan Capistrano!

Our well-established optometry clinic, serving the San Juan Capistrano community for nearly 50 years, is seeking a dedicated Optician to join our team. We offer a supportive and collaborative work environment, and are committed to providing exceptional patient care.

We welcome applicants with optical/optician experience. We are prepared to provide additional training if needed for the role.

We are looking for individuals who demonstrate:

- Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in all aspects of patient care.

- Reliability: Maintaining consistent attendance and punctuality.

- Positive Attitude: Contributing to a positive and welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities include:

- Assisting patients with frame selection and insurance processing.

- Maintaining frame displays and inventory.

- Adjusting and repairing frames.

- Ordering frames and lenses.

- Processing insurance claims for eyewear.

Work Schedule:

This position is 30-40 hours per week: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.

We are also open on Saturdays once a month for half of a day.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Optical/Optician experience

- Experience in a patient-facing or customer service role.

- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly OfficeMate/ExamWriter.
