Small personal injury law firm in Central San Rafael seeking a full time Receptionist/Office Admin/Legal position. Prior office experience is a must and legal experience a bonus. MUST have a positive, willing, team-player attitude. Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m, some flexibility, M-F. $30/hr to start. Benefits including Kaiser Platinum and 5% 401k match offered after 15-day probationary period.

Duties include but are not limited to:

-Professionally Answer (low volume) incoming phone calls and transferring/taking messages/texting staff messages as needed;

-Professionally greet clients and vendors;

-Monitor busy office email, saving documents, forwarding emails to appropriate staff and saving in correct email folders.

-Daily paper mail processing (low volume) including scanning, saving and disbursal to office employees;

-Managing general office supplies - maintaining kitchen(s) and office supply stocks, printer paper & ink, etc.;

-Maintaining cleanliness and order of general office areas and kitchens, watering plants, running dishwashers, trash bin to curb and back once per week, etc;

-Paper filing (low volume) of correspondence and other legal documents into correct folders and subfolders;

-Various errands including picking up lunch, bank deposits and other misc. errands as assigned;

-Various other tasks that may be assigned by staff and attorneys as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

-Legal office experience preferred but not required;

-Candidate MUST be punctual and reliable;

-Must be proficient with computers, Word and Outlook;

-50 WPM Typing minimum;

-Minimum one year office experience answering phones/filing/general office duties;

-High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred;

-VALID and CLEAN California Driver License

-POSITIVE and willing attitude

You will be trained on office policy, functionality, printers and systems.
