Community Manager Position Opening. Help Wanted.

Part-time: 3 hrs/week (1 day) $40/hr (with the possibility of adding additional days at additional nearby locations)

Location: Miramar, FL

Your role:

Working onsite for a single 3-hour shift each week (likely Wed 11 AM - 2 PM), you will oversee the tenant lounge at a commercial office building

Upon arrival, make sure the lounge looks tidy: water the plants, fluff the pillows, ensure everything is in order, and report anything that needs attention

Greet and interact with all tenants

Lead a 20-minute “stretching and breathing” class for tenants

Take notes and photo(s) to share with BetterSpaces team, check in with the building manager, and ensure that everything is in order before leaving

Once a month, in addition to the class, plan and lead a small activity in the lounge (e.g., holiday card making, raffles, kids-to-work day, blood drive, etc.)

Twice a year, plan and host a building event for tenants (e.g., Fall Fest pumpkin giveaway, holiday jazz and cocoa, etc.). These events will include live music, food & drink.

Your experience:

Customer service, event production, or hospitality experience

College degree a plus

Yoga, pilates or fitness certification a plus

Strong computer and writing skills

Ability to lift 25 lbs.
