Experienced Carpenter/ helper

Job description:

Seeking an experienced carpenter or helper for small framing company. We specialize in mostly remodeling on high end custom homes. Job duties consist of: custom trim installation, doors, windows, framing, demo of kitchens, baths, and sometimes full interiors. Someone who is physically fit and has the ability to read blueprints and follow directions. You should also be safety-conscious and have good organizational abilities such as, planning, execution, and evaluation of construction projects which may include anything from minor site preparation to constructing entire buildings.

Requirements:

Must be a team player

Must hold a valid FL Driver’s license (Required)

Must be an honest person with integrity who can perform quality work

Must have excellent customer service/ communication skills

Must have a reliable transportation

Must have knowledge in general construction as may be required to take on other duties and responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Install windows and doors to high standards with finish trim work

Cabinetry Installation, Crown moldings and trim work

Interior and exterior framing

Demo

Provide a first-class experience to all customers by being on time

Perform installations in a timely manner while keeping up with high quality workmanship

Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Other construction knowledge is essential

Familiar with tools and equipment

Ability to handle physical workload

Ability to work well in teams

Ability to prioritize and multitask

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Hourly wage TBD based upon experience with paid one week vacation after first year

Work Location: Indian river/ Brevard
