Alma- Pastry Assistant
We are looking for a pastry assistant to join our award winning team at Alma!Alma is a nationally recognized casual restaurant owned by James Beard award winning chef Alex Roberts. We serve nourishing food inspired by the wonderful local farmers and suppliers that we work with. We feature house-made pastries, sandwiches, signature plates, coffee, wine and cocktails. While our retail counter highlights Alma apothecary, pantry and home goods Our commitment and care in our food and hospitality make us one of the most popular restaurants in Minneapolis. We at Alma work hard to serve both our guests and our staff. We have a world-class facility and a long history of making people happy with delicious food and genuine hospitality. Under the direction of our Executive Chef, pastry assistants will laminate dough, produce a variety of items for our pastry case, and create the components of our plated desserts in both our Café and Restaurant Alma. Starting pay ranging from at $19-$21 hour depending on experience. Sunday and Monday availability required. Experience in large volume bread making or viennoiserie is a huge plus.
