Ice Cream Truck Event Staff

Hiring Truckers!

Season is April - October

This is a fun job but requires responsible people who can work independently & with others.

Position Details & Duties

Represent the business in a professional, fun and courteous way.

Take daily inventory & restock the trucks as needed.

Safely drive the trucks for events & catering opportunities (must have a clean driving record).

Be focused on a positive customer experience.

Complete truck opening & closing duties - checklist provided.

Truck outings consist of a mixture of concerts, festivals, residential neighborhood events. Some are in-town and others are out of town.

Some events are during the day, while others are in the afternoon and could end as late as 11pm.

Must be living in Richmond during the summer months and willing to work holidays, which is often when this business is MOST in demand (Labor Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, etc)

$13-$15 an hour plus tips! Tips are always higher with a great customer experience and a friendly disposition with guests. The ability to drive the trucks safely will help increase hourly pay.

Some truck outings you may be working solo and others will be with additional help at busier events.

Full and Part time positions available.

Opportunities to help in the kitchen if the business needs it.

Our ice cream production space & truck depot is located just South of the river at Hatch Kitchen (in the Manchester area).
