We are looking for a Slab Cutting and Programming Operator - Granite Shop
About the Company:
We are a residential and commercial remodeling company located in West Las Vegas, NV, near Tropicana and Decatur. We provide high-quality solutions for remodeling projects and have a professional team that works with the best materials and technology in the industry.
Location:
Las Vegas, NV - Tropicana and Decatur.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm. Some Saturdays may be required depending on workload.
Salary:
To be discussed based on experience.
Requirements:
Experience in stone cutting and operation of the GMM machine.
Knowledge of Prolines is a plus.
Bilingual (Spanish and English) preferred.
Responsible, organized, and capable of following detailed instructions.

Main Responsibilities:
Slab Control and Cutting:
Verify and receive slab deliveries, ensuring they are in good condition.
Report any defects and send photos to the estimator or assistant.
Label each slab correctly with project information (estimator name, job address, and date).
Upload packing slips to the drive for easy access by the team.
Keep slabs organized and easily identifiable by size and type of stone.
Slab Cutting:
Perform precise cuts, including special cuts like “book match.”
Follow estimator instructions and maintain the approved cutting sequence.
Safely store any leftovers until the job is completed.
Cutting Scheduling:
Ensure final measurements are clear and verified before proceeding with cuts.
Maintain an organized record of cutting schedules.
General Guidelines:
Follow all established processes without skipping steps.
Always consult the estimator before proceeding with any cuts.
Do not assume any measurements or instructions that are not approved.
Keep the workspace clean and organized.
Request the necessary tools to carry out tasks accurately and safely.

Funciones principales:
Control y Corte de Slabs:
Verificar y recibir las entregas de slabs, asegurando que estén en buen estado.

Etiquetar correctamente cada slab con la información del proyecto (nombre del estimador, dirección del trabajo y fecha).
Cargar los "packing slips" en el drive para su fácil acceso por todo el equipo.
Mantener los slabs organizados y fácilmente localizables según tamaño y tipo de piedra.
Corte de Slabs:
Realizar cortes precisos, incluyendo cortes especiales como "book match".
Seguir las instrucciones del estimador y mantener la secuencia de cortes establecida.
Almacenar de forma segura los sobrantes hasta que el trabajo esté completo.
Programación de Cortes:
Asegurarse de que las medidas finales sean claras y verificadas antes de proceder con los cortes.
Registrar y mantener un control organizado de la programación de cortes.
Normas Generales:
Cumplir todos los procesos establecidos sin omitir pasos.
Consultar siempre con el estimador antes de proceder con cualquier corte.
No asumir medidas o indicaciones no aprobadas.
