GROUNDHAND/LOADER OPERATOR (Groesbeck, TX Bond Pit)

Big Creek Construction is currently seeking a full-time Groundhand/Loader Operator in the Groesbeck, Texas Area.

The groundhand/loader operator is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment, perform daily routine maintenance on machine including lubrication and monitor needed service requirements, work cooperatively with crew to accomplish tasks, maintain tools and equipment so they are kept in good working order are safe for use, good communication skills to coordinate work flow.

Required Knowledge, Skills and ability

Thorough knowledge of applicable safety precautions

Ability to work under minimum supervision according to work schedule

Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency

Good communication skills to coordinate work flow with crew members

Work Environment

Regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity and exposure to dust.

Must be able to lift, push, pull or carry objects, use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue and to effectively jump, sprint, or throw objects.

Requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordination

Noise level is generally loud

Excellent Stamina is required

Required Experience

Must have at least 2 years experience

Standard REQUIRMENTS

Pass a pre-employment "Fit for Work" physical

Pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test

Be able to work overtime and weekends when required
