We are seeking a motivated and skilled individual to lead a crew in a variety of exciting excavation projects across the Merrimack Valley and Seacoast NH areas. Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of 4 crew members, working on multi-unit projects, house lot work, and residential road construction

Oversee site work operations including sewer, water, drainage, and related tasks for commercial and residential sites

Ensure high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency on all projects

Work closely with the team to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget

Maintain accurate documentation, including daily reports and project records

Serve as a liaison between the crew, project managers, and clients, ensuring excellent communication and customer satisfaction

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in excavation, including sewer, water, drainage, and road construction

Proven leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a small crew

Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage paperwork effectively

Skilled equipment operator with knowledge of heavy machinery

Strong understanding of jobsite safety practices and current industry procedures

Self-motivated with a proactive attitude

Comfortable with technology and computer systems for project management and documentation

Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and manage multiple priorities

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with clients, contractors, and team members

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50lbs on a regular basis

Ability to work in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.)

Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and kneel for extended periods

Ability to perform repetitive motions such as digging and operating heavy machinery

Ability to maintain balance and coordination while carrying out tasks on uneven or rocky surfaces

Ability to work with power tools and construction machinery
