CNC Operator

About Us:

American Valmark is a leading CNC machine shop specializing in precision manufacturing. We take pride in our teamwork, craftsmanship, and commitment to quality. We are looking for experienced CNC Operators to join our team—someone with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and the ability to set up and operate both CNC mills and lathes.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes to produce high-quality parts according to specifications.

Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.

Perform tool changes, offsets, and adjustments as needed to maintain precision.

Conduct in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.

Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues to minimize downtime.

Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow safety protocols.

Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiency.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience operating CNC mills and lathes.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

Strong understanding of GD&T and precision measuring tools.

Experience with CNC programming and setup is a plus.

Reliable, detail-oriented, and a team player with a strong work ethic.

Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
