Job Description:

Oversee day-to-day field operations for a specialized transit service, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery while managing drivers and customer interactions.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Be onsite daily (8 AM - 5 PM) to oversee operations.

Monitor driver compliance and ensure vehicles are clean and equipped.

Conduct fleet audits and oversee driver onboarding.

Act as the designated employer representative for drug/alcohol determinations.

Support drivers with training, troubleshooting, and customer service.

Analyze operational data and identify areas for improvement.

Escalate and resolve service issues promptly.

Requirements:

Must-Haves:

Experience in a leadership, field operations, or customer service role.

Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.

Competency with technology (Slack, dispatch tools, internal apps).

Ability to troubleshoot driver issues and escalate appropriately.

Comfortable working in an ambiguous, problem-solving environment.

Onsite availability Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM.

Nice-to-Haves:

Experience in transportation, logistics, or similar industries.

Previous work with drivers, fleet management, or dispatch operations.

Background in customer service or sensitivity training.

Familiarity with performance tracking tools like Tableau.

Mission-driven mindset, especially related to community impact.
