Operations Manager
Description Job Description:Robert Half is partnering with a client in Salt Lake City to find a highly skilled Operations Manager with a strong background in the manufacturing industry to oversee warehouse and manufacturing operations. This onsite role requires a hands-on leader who will be responsible for managing the entire manufacturing team, ensuring efficient production, and implementing cost control measures.In this position, you will oversee the manufacturing process from start to finish, manage procurement activities, and be responsible for running budgets while providing leadership to the team. You will also be required to work with mapping software and Microsoft Office Suite. While experience with specific software is not required, a willingness to learn and adapt is crucial, and training will be provided.This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about manufacturing, looking to leverage their leadership skills and make an impact in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.Responsibilities:
Production Management: Oversee the manufacturing process to ensure efficient production and high-quality output.
Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and manage the production team to meet performance goals while maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
Budget & Cost Control: Develop, manage, and monitor operational budgets, ensuring cost-effective strategies to optimize operations and productivity.
Procurement: Oversee procurement activities to ensure the timely availability of materials and supplies required for production.
Software Management: Learn and effectively use mapping software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel) for data analysis, reporting, and decision-making.
Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and quality enhancements to increase operational efficiency.

Managerial Experience: Strong background in managing teams within the manufacturing sector, with a proven ability to oversee production and warehouse operations.
Production Support: Experience in managing the production of products off the assembly line, ensuring quality and efficiency are maintained.
Procurement Experience: Familiarity with procurement processes to ensure the timely delivery of necessary materials and supplies for production.
Budget & Cost Control Expertise: Proven ability to manage budgets effectively and implement cost control measures to optimize production.
Software Proficiency: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) for reporting and analysis. Familiarity with mapping software is preferred (training will be provided).
Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to manage, motivate, and develop a team.
Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to identify and resolve issues in the production process to ensure smooth operations.
Onsite Role: This position is onsite in Salt Lake City, UT, and requires the candidate to work from the facility.
