Substitute Cafeteria/Custodial Openings for ALL Horry County Schools!

Join the Horry County School District as a Custodial Worker and help maintain a clean and safe environment for students, staff, and visitors. Or become a Food Service Worker and help prepare food and serve! As a substitute Custodial Worker/Food Service Worker with Kelly Education, you will fill in during the absence of full-time custodians and follow the direction of the School District’s Manager or their designee.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma / GED or higher

Must be at least 18 years of age

Ability to follow oral and written directions

Effective organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Understanding and respect for diverse cultures

Compliance with OSHA and school safety regulations

Must be able to lift 50 Pounds - These are very active jobs

Responsibilities:

Work under the supervision of the School District’s full-time custodial/kitchen staff

Dress appropriately as per KE Standards of Professional Conduct - no jewelry, no excessive makeup, no strong cologne or perfumes

Assist in cleaning, maintenance, and custodial care of school buildings and grounds for Custodians

Follow cleaning and sanitation rules and procedures

Ensure proper care, use, and safety of chemicals and equipment

Benefits:

$15.00 per hour pay rate

Multiple shifts available! (if you prefer very early mornings, Food Service is for you. If you enjoy working evenings, Custodial roles are for you! You can choose to work both)
