Entry Level Carpenter/Laborer

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Carpenter Apprentice/Laborer to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to develop their skills in carpentry and construction. As a Carpenter Apprentice, you will work under the guidance of experienced carpenters, assisting with various tasks on construction sites, including remodeling projects and new builds. You will gain hands-on experience in a variety of carpentry techniques and practices.

Duties

Assist in the installation of roofs, flooring, and other structural components.

Support remodeling projects by helping to remove old materials and install new fixtures.

Engage in caulking and sealing tasks to ensure proper insulation and weatherproofing.

Maintain a clean and organized work area on the construction site to promote safety and efficiency.

Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to quality standards.

Experience

No prior experience is required, but familiarity with basic carpentry tools and techniques is a plus.

A willingness to learn about plumb techniques and flooring installation is essential.

Previous exposure to construction environments or related fields will be beneficial but not mandatory.

Strong attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and commitment to safety practices are critical for success in this role.

Pay will be based on experience level. Looking to start the right individual as early as tomorrow.

Job Type: Part-time - Could move to full time for the right person.

Pay: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
