Software Engineer

Statsig, Inc. in Bellevue, WA seeks Software Engineer. (multiple openings)

Responsibilities: The Software Engineer will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software; lead and design software to backup enterprise data sources; design the storage of metadata, storage of data, application programming interfaces, and the distributed jobs, which are consistent, redundant, and horizontally scalable; code and implement solutions into software by implementing the functionality, writing tests to ascertain the functionality, and writing tools for supportability and debugging purposes; identify and solve bottlenecks with our software; review code to check for accuracy and to ensure that it meets the functional requirements of the task it was developed to accomplish; and other duties as assigned.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science or closely related field (or foreign equivalent).

Requirements: 6 months of experience in the job offered or related software engineering positions; other special requirements include: 6 months of experience with one of the following languages: Node, PHP, or similar coding languages; 6 months of experience architecting and developing large scale systems and distributed systems; 6 months of experience working with Kubernetes, Docker, React, Redis, or similar software programs; and 6 months of experience with debugging and testing.

Wage: $138,000 to $165,000
