Inspector/Packer

Perform final inspection of parts of plastic packaging to ensure our product meets specs

Adjust shakers, sorters, and related equipment for maximum efficiency and check regrind bucket for good parts to eliminate throwing good parts away

Ensure product meets customer fit, form, and function requirements

Use of cutting tool to trim or modify product as needed of excess plastic

Prepare the area for the correct box, regrind bucket, and pallet

Assemble, pack, seal, and weigh boxes while maintaining a clean work area

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED, prefer line work or assembly experience

Possess large motor skills to bend, twist, and lift boxes which have a weight range of approximately 10 to 35 pounds, and lift the boxes over shoulder level

Must be able to attention to detail to see part defects and color variations

Must be able to perform hand/wrist motions such as grasping, pulling, and pushing to prepare items for packaging

Ability to pass a pre-employment physical including screening for drugs, alcohol, and nicotine
