Corporate Payroll Practitioner I

Job Summary:Provides backup and assistance to the Corporate Payroll Team. Ensures accurate and timely processing of data for payroll processing.Duties/Responsibilities:

Maintain employee confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential

Provide assistance with the processing all company payrolls ensuring timely and accurate transmission of data

Resolve payroll questions, problems, and adjustments

Provide assistance on a daily basis regarding payroll issues

- Assist payroll team with day-to-day responsibilities

- Serve as backup during vacation coverage and absences as required

- Keep informed about changes in tax and deduction laws that apply to the payroll process

- Assist with reporting on a bi-weekly, quarterly and annual basis

- Successfully produce results under tight timelines meeting high-level quality standards

- Follow all required safety procedures such as: PPEs, Ergonomics, etc. Perform job in a manner that protects the health and safety of all employees.

- Assist with housekeeping in the Finance area

- Other duties as assignedBasic Qualifications:

High School Diploma

3-5 years of payroll experience

Excellent organizational skills

Computer literacy and proficiency with MS Excel and Word

Strong interpersonal skills

A sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure handling multiple tasks at one time

Excellent follow-up skills in a fast-paced environment

Strong customer service and communication skills, both verbal and in writing

Ability to work in a cross-functional environment building and maintaining strong relationships at all levels of the organization

Desired Skills and Abilities:

Expertise/experience in the payroll field is preferred, particularly if that experience is in ADP WFN and WFM.

Bookkeeping/accounting experience preferred

Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift 5 pounds at times.
