Responsible for day-to-day operational Management of the company’s Nutritional Products Warehouse in Belvidere, NJ – which is a global distribution, a regional distribution center as well a warehouse for raw materials to support the site.
Manage next to the Belvidere, NJ warehouse a few other, smaller warehouse operations in the NA region.
Manage the day-to-day operational relationships with various third-party providers, including:
The warehouse service provider.
The management logistics service provider.
Top Skills:
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or Operations Management. APICS certification is preferred.
Knowledge of and experience with Warehousing and Transportation in general and Hazmat materials
5 years of experience in a global environment with a complex matrix organization, preferable in the Life Sciences industry.
At least 5 years of experience in Warehousing and Distribution and the management of the 3rd party logistics service providers.
Experience with outsourcing of complex and very high standard distribution and warehousing activities.
Education:
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or Operations Management. APICS certification is preferred.
Knowledge of and experience with Warehousing and Transportation in general and Hazmat materials.
Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with internal and/or external parties.
Skills:
5 years of experience in a global environment with a complex matrix organization, preferable in the Life Sciences industry.
At least 5 years of experience in Warehousing and Distribution and the management of the 3rd party logistics service providers.
Experience with outsourcing of complex and very high standard distribution and warehousing activities.
Proven analytical, leadership, organizational and inter-personal skills.
Experience in dealing with authorities and internal or external audits.
Experience in project management with worldwide integrated processes and system collaborating with cross functional teams.
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
Advanced computing skills in Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and SAP (R/3 and Business Warehouse)
