Machinist

We are a 46 year-old manufacturing company looking for a skilled Machinist – must have experience in both programming and operating CNC machines. We are not a high-volume job shop, but make parts for our own in-house manufacturing use. Most work is short-run production and on demand production. We are not looking for an operator, we are looking for a CNC Machinist capable of set ups & G code programming/editing.

Requirements:

Minimum experience of 5 years working with the following tools:

Fadal CNC Model VMC4020 with CNC88HS Controls or equivalent.

CNC Routers

Bridgeport Mill

Lathe

Surface Grinder

Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, specifications, and blueprints.

Must be capable of using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools and gauges.

Ability to perform routine maintenance and repairs on machines and equipment.

Must be able to perform your own setups and edit programming as needed.

Experience in working with both metal and plastic materials.

Must maintain a clean & safe working environment at all times.

Computer experience and familiarity with ERP manufacturing software.

Pay Range: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
