PA, NY, NJ, MD, DE, VAResponsibilities Profitably grow Pitt Ohio's business from existing National Accounts and work to onboard new National Accounts in the states of PA, NY, NJ, MD, DE, VA.
Leverage the Pitt Ohio Enterprise including Supply Chain service offerings to create a deeper relationship within existing customers and potential customers.
Work with Market Development to prospect and acquire new Pitt Ohio National Account customers
Use Marketing research analysis to develop a tactical plan to penetrate targeted accounts in your sales territory
Effectively communicate the value of logistic solutions to your account base.
Work with the Customer Solutions group to implement value added solutions for your customer base
Support Pitt Ohio Operations and Administration in reducing cost with your customer base
Collaborate with and support the efforts of the Operations, Pricing, Safety, Claims, Collections and Sales (local Outside Sales and Inside Sales) Departments
Support all Company goals and policies
Must effectively use new sales reporting tools to leverage information and effectively communicate within the organization and comply with Microsoft Dynamics.
Must quickly adapt to change and be willing to handle new administrative, research, sales and marketing tasks.
Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assignedQualifications Candidates must have proven success and more than 3 years experience in LTL transportation sales.
Excellent proven track record in the LTL industry or within PITT OHIO ENTERPRISE
Fluent English language skills are required to communicate effectively with internal and external customers
Must possess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and Internet research capabilities
Proficient in excel and data analytics to advance opportunities
Drivers License and a clean driving record required
Problem solving, negotiation, and time management skills are essential
Strong negotiating skills and the ability to close opportunities are a must.Working Conditions/Physical Requirements Overnight travel is required. Must be able to energetically travel by plane, car or public transportation
Weekend work and travel may occasionally be needed in order to meet customer demands
State assignments could change based on final composition of the National Account Sales team
Willing to attend evening or weekend class to learn additional skills as neededPI265650840
