Garden Technician

We are looking for a few of the right candidates to join our team and grow with us! As a small landscaping company focused on providing high quality lawn and garden care, we believe in developing a strong team culture. Working conditions include:

Lifting, carrying and pushing tools and equipment weighing 50+ pounds (occasionally)

-Working in a variety of outside conditions and perform rigorous labor for extended periods of time

-Typical Work Schedule is Monday-Friday 7:30 am-4:00 pm

Job Description: We are looking for a garden technician to join our team. The right candidate will have a strong background in horticulture and be able to take care of a wide range of plants. They would also be able to take direction and work independently on the job site. Duties include installing, pruning and maintaining plantings as well as weeding, spreading mulch and removing leaf, brush and other debris. Each day starts and ends at the shop in New Haven and includes tool and material cleanup.

Qualifications:

-2+ years experience in professional gardening

-Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted

-High School Diploma or GED

-Valid drivers license

-2 professional references
