Farm Hand & Dog Caretaker (Small Family-Owned Business)

Looking for an energetic and reliable person to join our small, family-owned farm! We need someone who thrives in a busy environment, loves working with dogs, and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves for some hands-on farm tasks. If you’re active, dependable, and comfortable with large & small dogs in training, this could be the perfect fit for you!

Job Duties:

Rotate dogs for potty breaks

Feed and administer medications as needed

Scoop poop and maintain clean dog areas

Keep kennels and indoor dog spaces clean and tidy

Bathe dogs as needed

Assist with farm handiwork (cleaning, assembling equipment, etc.)

Requirements:

Comfortable and experienced handling large & small dogs in training. Dog experience huge plus!

Physically active and able to keep up with a busy workload

Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Reliable transportation to our farm

Details:

Location: Cottage Grove

Hours: 5 days a week, 6-hour shifts from 7:30 AM - 1:30 PM. Optional extra hours available from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM if open to night shifts.

Pay: $15/ hour to start with increase after 90 days
