Horse Farm Handyperson

Looking for highly responsible person to work full time/part time on small active horse breeding ranch. Long term employment preferred. Duties include feeding, cleaning, let out, and general care of 10-12 very friendly horses of all ages so some horse experience is important. Will also be "handyman" to help care for 15 acres of grounds, buildings, fences, irrigation and whatever else might come up. This is a steady year-round job, 5 days and average 40 hours a week. Good wages and workman's comp. No unreported pay. Must be able to move 100# bales of hay, bagged feeds of 50#, and other physically demanding tasks. Will train. Would be great if also have love for horses and could groom and assist owner with breeding and training. No addicts or alcoholics unless at least 2 years clean and sober. Must speak English, have valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Good living circumstances are also available for right person.
