job title: Interior Foliage Tech

If you like working with indoor plants and being with fun folks, this is the job for you! Nature's Accents inc. is currently looking for a part time interior foliage technician one or two days a week. Experience is preferred but will be willing to train the right person. If you love your home plants, you will love this job. Daytime hours are flexible Monday thru Wednesday.

You must be at least 21 years of age, have a clean driving record and this position requires walking, driving, stooping, reaching and lifting. We also do background checks. We need to know recent work history. Our company provides a vehicle for you to drive while at work.

The position involves checking soil moisture, removing yellowed and dead leaves, making sure that the soil and grow containers are covered with Spanish Moss, determining if pests are present, keeping accurate records, replacing plants when needed.

You will be trained on a route for at least 2 weeks. Hours are generally 8am to 3:30 pm. Route work times vary from week to week due to traffic, replacing plants, etc. If you choose to work on Tuesday/ Wednesday, then it must stay Tuesday/ Wednesday unless a holiday is involved.
