Delivery Driver

We are a distributor of Cutting Tools & Supplies to Machine Shops/Fabricators looking for a delivery driver to join our team. Based in Santa Clara, the delivery routes vary depending on customer orders, leaving at 9am and again at 1pm, going as far North as San Carlos, accross the bay to Hayward, South to Fremont and then back to Santa Clara. Toyota Tacoma Truck with gas card provided. Most packages are less than 5 lbs. There are occasional orders of 5 gallon pails that weigh about 50 lbs or 54 gallon drums that are loaded and offloaded by forklift. Work hours are 8:30am - 5:00pm M-F.

Job Responsibilities:

-Prepare orders for delivery, logging them in the Shipment Log

- Deliver the items and return with a signed copy of the Packing List

-Occasionally picking up tools for return or checks from Customers

-Filing and other

Employee Requirements:

Must be 21 or older

1 point or less on DMV record

Experience as a Driver or Customer Service or similar with ability to navigate traffic and directions
