Share your resume with us today!Primary Responsibilities. Review customer contracts, specifications, and quality clauses to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements. Work cross-functionally with Contracts, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to interpret and implement quality requirements. Define and ensure the flow-down of quality requirements to suppliers and internal teams. Support proposal efforts by evaluating quality-related contractual risks and developing mitigation strategies. Ensure timely identification, documentation, and resolution of quality issues, including non-conformances and deviations. Participate in audits (internal, supplier, and customer) to assess compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements. Assist in the development of inspection plans, test methods, and acceptance criteria based on contractual obligations. Provide technical quality support during contract execution, including responding to customer inquiries and supporting root cause/corrective action investigations. Maintain and ensure traceability of all quality documentation associated with contract deliverables. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance compliance and efficiency.Basic Qualification s. Bachelors degree with 8-12 of prior relevant work experience or Masters degree with 6-10 years or prior relevant work experience. In lieu of a degree, a High School diploma/GED with 15 years of experience will be considered Strong understanding of quality standards such as AS9100, ISO 9001, and contract quality flow-down. Experience reviewing contracts and interpreting technical and quality requirements. Knowledge of supplier quality processes, inspections, and non-conformance management. Strong problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis and corrective actions (8D, RCCA, etc.). Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment and interface with customers and suppliers. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Preferred Qualifications. Experience working with government contracts (DoD, NASA) and understanding of FAR/DFARS requirements. Certifications such as ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt. Experience with manufacturing processes, special processes, and Nondestructive Testing (NDT).
