Foster Parents Wanted- Interviewing Now

Local foster care agency is looking for good people who are willing to open their homes to children and adolescents in foster care. These young people are in need of a temporary home that will provide them nurturance, supervision and support while awaiting reunification with their family. Our greatest need at present are homes for teenagers.

To be a foster parent you must:

-Have a heart for children

-Be financially stable

-Be in good health

-Have sufficient living space in your home for a child

-Have no record of child abuse or neglect

Our successful foster parents are: Stable, Mature, Dependable, Committed, Flexible, Patient, and Team Players. Good humor also helps!

If you are approved as a foster parent with our agency, you would be provided with:

-$10,000/year tax exempt reimbursement, per child

-24/7 emergency on-call services

-Professional training

-Weekly contact by our agency staff
