DIESEL/HEAVY EQUIPMENT MECHANIC

Phil Cogar Excavating LLC, is a family owned, full service general contractor, looking to fill a full time position for a heavy equipment diesel mechanic.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Routine maintenance and repairs on equipment both in shop and onsite.

Specific Job Responsibilities:

Diagnose problems with equipment/engines

Repair equipment/engines.

Locate parts needed for repairs.

Write service reports and maintain service logs.

Clean equipment.

Job Requirements:

Repeated bending, stooping, reaching, crawling, standing, twisting. Unaided lifting of up to 50 lbs.

Must have experience repairing Diesel Trucks and Heavy Equipment.

Must have at least 4+ years of experience.

Welding experience is a plus.

Valid driver’s license.

Starting position $30.00- - $40 an hour.
