Job Summary
The Groundworker is responsible for assisting tree crews in rigging, clean-up, and job site safety. This role is essential to supporting climbers and equipment operators while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist climbers and arborists by handling ropes, rigging, and equipment.
Use rakes, blowers, and chipper machines to clear job sites efficiently.
Safely operate chainsaws, chippers, and other tools under supervision.
Follow company safety protocols and assist with job site hazard management.
Work closely with the crew to ensure a smooth and productive work environment.
Qualifications
Passion for working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
Previous experience in tree care, landscaping, or construction is a plus but not required.
Valid driver’s license (preferred).
