Work ScheduleStandard (Mon-Fri)Environmental ConditionsOfficeJob DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Government Affairs Contract Manager to oversee and manage federal contracts including Federal Supply Schedules (FSS), and Electronic Catalogs (ECAT) for Fisher Healthcare. This role also has responsibility for leading and managing the State contract strategy and execution for the division. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in federal contracting, regulatory compliance, and government affairs, ensuring that our organization’s contracts are executed efficiently and fully compliant with federal regulations.Key Responsibilities:
Owns contract strategy, negotiation execution and process for government segment (FSS, ECAT)
Proposal and contract lead to coordinate and oversee all aspects of Contract Life Cycle Management activities for assigned Government Corporate Account Executive’s market segment.
Ensures all documents align appropriately with the operational strategy and billables are completed accurately and on time within contract compliance guidelines
Drives accurate administration and compliance of locally awarded federal contracts and aims to improve the customer experience.
Build and maintain strong connections with federal agencies, prime contractors, and other collaborators to support contract execution and management.
Offer training and mentorship to internal teams on federal contracting processes and requirements.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks in contract performance and develop mitigation strategies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Public Administration, Law, or a related field. Advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Proven experience (+7 years) in federal contract management, with specific experience in FSS, GSA, and ECAT contracts in the medical device, invitro diagnostics industry.
4+ years of people leadership experience required
2+ years of sales experienced preferred
Sales experience in medical device or invitro diagnostics is a plus.
In-depth understanding of federal acquisition regulations, contract law, and government procurement processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Certifications: Professional certifications such as CPCM (Certified Professional Contracts Manager) or similar credentials are helpful.
