Day Nurse - RN/LVN

A small Home and Community-Based Services (HCS) program in South Austin is seeking a full-time or part-time nurse. The schedule is Monday through Friday, be available from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- In-service training for staff

- Receiving phone orders from other healthcare professionals

- Making phone calls to healthcare professionals

- Supervising medication administration

- Documenting all nursing services provided

- Conducting monthly, quarterly, and annual nursing assessments based on client needs

- Overseeing all aspects of nursing related to client care

- Reviewing doctors' notes and recommendations

- Checking medications upon delivery from the pharmacy
