The Role As a(n) Senior Cloud Solutions Architect, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
  • Providing sound cloud solutions architecture guidance and thought leadership to HIS teams building products and services for a domestic and international healthcare customer base
  • Architect cloud ready, high scale, resilient products and services that follow AWS Well-Architected principles
  • Lead efforts to capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the HIS technical community
  • Collaborate with other technical leadership teams to define standards and guidelines to continually improve the security posture and overall technical design of HIS products
  • Communicate strategy and vision effectively to audiences from developer community to executive

Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, we are looking looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited university OR High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution and a minimum of fourteen (14) years of experience in software industry in lieu of the bachelor's degree education requirement
  • Seven (7) years of software development/engineering experience
  • Four (4) years developing and architecting high scale secure solutions in AWS
  • Work experience with healthcare data and healthcare related security concepts including HIPAA and HITRUST
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
  • Advanced degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • Advanced knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to solve problems in a logical, methodical, and time efficient manner
  • Demonstrated track record of influencing others
